Organic Agave or Maple Syrup

When choosing our first ingredient, what syrup to use is a matter of accessibility. Since when it comes to the benefits they offer, both agave and maple syrup have a lot to offer!

Both syrups have tons of vitamins and minerals that can help moisturize the scalp and keep dandruff at bay. Plus, the antioxidants in both agave syrup and maple syrup can condition the hair and scalp beautifully!

Ripe Bananas

Apart from being easy to acquire, bananas are capable of making our hair much less prone to frizz. This is because of a mineral in bananas called silica that makes hair stronger and thicker.

How To Make The Easy Overnight Hair Mask For Dandruff

  • Bowl
  • Shower cap


  • 1 tablespoon Agave or Maple Syrup
  • 1 or 2 Ripe Bananas (depending on your hair length)
  • 2 drops Eucalyptus Oil

How to Prepare and Use It?

  1. Peel the banana(s) and then mash in the bowl by using a fork or putting it in a blender.
  2. Once the banana is well mashed, add the syrup.
  3. Mix the banana and syrup together until a mixture of even texture and consistency is created.
  4. Apply the hair mask with your fingers, paying particular attention to your scalp and the roots of your hair.
  5. Massage your scalp for 5 to 10 minutes before putting on the shower cap and going to sleep.
  6. Rinse everything off in the morning.
